OUCC #TraininginSpain

We went up hills hard and not hard. And we went down hills hard and not hard.

Sometimes my legs hurt.

Sometimes they really hurt.

Mostly they hurt.

The cycling was good, if windy once or twice and the sun only shone properly for a day.

Everyone had fun.

We liked the bikes.

We didn’t the like the climb back to the villa.

We spotted lots of pros with their team cars and their team kits and their team bikes.

Etixx, BMC, Katusha, Tinkoff, Giant-Alpecin.

RusVelo, Wiggle Honda, Cannondale, Lotto-Soudal.

Lotto-Jumbo, Beeline, CCC-Sprandi, Novo Nordisk.

We rode with the Tabs and Oxbridge of the north.

Kings didn’t want us.

We didn’t want them.

The Tabs seemed decent.

We went on our bikes every day, and stopped occasionally for café con Leche and cokes and tostadas.

Some people smashed the hills.

Some people smashed the descents.

Some people rode sensibly all the time.
