Favourite Ride: Long all-day adventure with a friend or two
Most Epic Ride: York to Doncaster & back with my brother on the hottest day of the year – a month or two after I first got my road bike and only a few days after I had learned to use road shoes. He picked the flattest route possible just so I would survive it. My brother would ride off without me each time I took too long to clip in, so I had to chase back on many times that day. Also without me realising, a lot of suncream ended up in my eyes and they were so sore the whole night afterwards! But it was fun.
