We’ve had a great weekend just finish. First of all our Cuppers TT was run and won on Saturday morning, with possibly new record of entrants. Big thank you to all the helpers for volunteering to help, couldn’t have run without you. Especially to Bryn Davies for not only organising it, but smashing the TT to win in a time of 23.40 on a very slow day (could he have doctored his own results?). Congratulations to everyone who showed up, it was great to see so many faces on Saturday morning and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves! LMH took out the college competition with a huge contingent, well done for good representation.

Sunday saw some good training rides put in, with a massive Oxford-Cambridge-Oxford ride attempted by some rowers on their bikes (madness I say!), Sorry to say that ended with a trip to the A&E, hope you get better Matt Kerin, and well done to everyone who made it back to Oxford safely as well. We had a good contingent show up to the local Zappis Crit Race at Enstone, despite the freezing conditions and snow falling during the race. Isaac Mundy showed he is still the Monster Mundy with a solo break to win the 4th Cat race and James Lambton did well to finish in the top 10 in the 2/3 race. Big thanks to all the organisers for hosting such a well run event, we will be back!

20160306_144906Everyone tired, cold, and trying to warm up for the ride home at Zappis crit on Sunday.

Congrats to everyone for a big weekend, hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Next weekend is the BUCS Track Championships in Manchester where OUCC is sending a contingent for the first time since 2012! Spectators more than welcome, contact us if you’re interested in coming along!

As always keep an eye on facebook, twitter, instagram, where all the cool kids hang, for more updates.

Happy riding!

Angus
