Pre-race ritual: 2-3 jelly babies to get me fired up
Favourite ride: Has to be turbos on the athletic stand at Iffley Road
Longest ride: The annual CC Ashwell ride from Ashwell to Wells-on-sea, came to 220km last year
Favourite ride food: Jordans Fruseli bars
Favourite pro: Marianne Vos, her versatility is stunning
Favourite race (to watch): Roubaix, because anything can happen
First race you saw in person: The Tour de France on the Champs Élysées in 2011. We were right at the front by the podium to see Cavendish win green and Cadel yellow.
Best “I was there” cycling moment: Watching Cavendish and Wiggins win the World Madison title in London.
